The CMWG hosted a webinar on April 26, 2023 to present the findings of an Independent Evaluation of the Outreach Training and Supportive Supervision (OTSS) quality improvement approach. OTSS has been supported by the US President's Malaria Initiative for more than 15 years in targeted countries as a method to improve the quality of malaria diagnostic and case management services at frontline health facilities. The Independent Evaluation was commissioned by PMI and the PMI Impact Malaria Project to assess the effectiveness of OTSS in improving the quality of malaria case management services and gather lessons learned and best practices related to this approach. The evaluation conducted by Tropical Health LLP demonstrated the effectiveness of OTSS in improving the quality of services delivered. More than 80 persons participated in the webinar (250 registrants).
