RBM Partnership to End Malaria Governance

RBM Partnership to End Malaria Governance

In May 2023 , a new RBM Partnership Board was named to lead the global organization into a new era, accelerate efforts and drive momentum to end malaria for good. This Board comprises an incredibly experienced group of individuals from across the malaria and development community.

The RBM Partnership aligns and supports affected countries, donors and other partner organizations to achieve internationally agreed targets for malaria control and elimination, map resource requirements and gaps, and lead in the mobilization of resources. The Partnership is composed of a multitude of Partners, including malaria-affected countries, their bilateral and multilateral development partners, the private sector, nongovernmental and community-based organisations, philanthropic foundations, and research & academic institutions. The Partners join the Partnership on a voluntary basis through their commitment to the Vision of “a world free of malaria”.

Partners are accountable to the Partnership Board and to other Partners and Partnership Mechanisms for the achievement of targets set out in RBM strategies, operational plans, and programmes for which they have accepted accountability. The Partnership Board and other mechanisms may request Partners to report on their progress towards achieving these targets.
