The RBM Partnership to End Malaria, through its Country and Regional Support Partner Committee, conducted its annual meeting with 12 National Malaria Programmes representing 12 countries in the Southern Africa subregion, in Harare Zimbabwe, on 05-08 July 2022. This event was conducted as a hybrid meeting and was attended by a total of 71 face-to- face participants along with 76 virtual participants which included Countries, Global, regional and local partners, private sector, academia etc. The event provided an opportunity to engage National Malaria Control Programmes and partners to review the status of implementation of national malaria programmes, identify major implementation bottlenecks including the impact of COVID-19 pandemic, lessons learnt, updates on the latest developments in Malaria and the implementation support required in 2022/2023. In addition, National Malaria Programmes, partners, CCM's and CSO's were trained on Community, Rights and Gender to ensure everyone has access to malaria interventions as well as provided an orientation on the next cycle of The Global Fund application planning and support.
