Call for creative expressions:

In the run to the 79th United Nations General Assembly, the RBM Partnership to End Malaria is inviting young people aged 15 to 35 years to submit creative entries that envision what a world free from malaria would look like. Entries can include but are not limited to poetry, art, videos, music, folk tales and photography.

 

Why Participate?

  • Showcase Your Talent: Winning entries will be featured in the Summit of the Future Digital Storybook at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) 2024.
  • Be a Voice for Change: Winners will have the chance to represent the RBM Partnership to End Malaria at UNGA 2025.

Eligibility and Technical Criteria

  • Entrants must be aged 15 to 35 on the closing date 31th August 2024 and living in countries that are affected by malaria as per the latest Global Malaria Dashboard.
  • Entries include poetry, art, video, music, folk tales, photography and any other forms of creativity.
  • Recorded entries (video, audio or GIFs) should be no more than ten minutes long.
  • Written entries should be no more than 3000 words.
  • The deadline for submission of all entries is 31th August 2024 at 23.59 UTC
  • Participants who are under 18 years must have permission of their parents/guardians and submit their contact details.
  • Entries are invited from both individuals and groups.

Terms and Conditions.

By participating in the contest, entrants retain their copyright to their works. For winning creative entries, the creator grant the RBM Partnership to End Malaria and associated organizations unlimited and non-exclusive rights to use the material in high resolution for all media, including social media, online, and print, in connection with this contest, digital storybook, and campaigns, as well as any promotional and educational activities that may be conducted as part of malaria awareness campaign, without any compensation. The content credit will be mentioned with each use.
