Welcome to the SME WG Surveillance Practice and Data Quality (SP&DQ) Committee’s quarterly newsletter.

We are delighted to introduce this new SME WG initiative where we focus on disseminating surveillance news and updates as well as lessons learned from countries and implementing partners on implementing surveillance and data quality tools.
 
As no doubt you are aware, RBM SM WG established the SP&DQ Committee in May 2021 to improve the visibility of surveillance and data quality improvement initiatives and to streamline global coordination of surveillance-related efforts.

This newsletter will provide an opportunity for countries, partners and other stakeholders to share their perspective on key surveillance and data quality topics.
