Accurate population estimations are crucial for malaria prevention, control, and elimination efforts, yet obtaining accurate population estimates can be challenging. To help address this challenge, the Global Fund, in coordination with the WHO RBM SMERG, partnered with PATH to conduct a landscaping exercise, to better understand current use cases and practices in population estimation for malaria, immunization, and related health programs. In May, a workshop was held to share these findings and to support national malaria programs and population experts to co-develop country-specific action plans to improve population estimation for malaria programs. This webinar will synthesize the learnings that emerged from the workshop and recent efforts by national malaria programs to implement the action plans.

There were 127 attendees from at least 34 organizations representing 36 countries.
