
The recent episode of the Malaria Routine Data in Action webinar series held on the 7th September, was dedicated to the topic of
“Cross-border collaboration and surveillance initiatives”
We welcomed a great panel of speakers from national malaria control programmes and implementing partners to share their experiences of implementing collaborative cross-border initiatives in the fight against malaria. We discussed best practices and lessons learned, as well as ideas for cross-border coordination of surveillance activities. There were 78 attendees from 27 organizations representing 30 countries
The webinar was moderated by Medoune Ndiop (Co-chair RBM SME WG) with help from Hannah Edwards (Senior Technical Advisor - Surveillance and Data-informed Response - Malaria Consortium)
