Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist, RBM Partnership to End Malaria

Marsha is an accomplished professional with over 15 years of experience in strategic planning, programme implementation, and monitoring and evaluation within global and public health. He has worked for various UN organisations, including UNDP, IOM, and WHO. His expertise spans low-resource settings as well as regional and headquarters-level operations, focusing on public health programmes which include malaria, HIV, tuberculosis, nutrition, and health system strengthening. He has also led the implementation of multiple donor-funded projects, including those supported by USAID/PEPFAR-PMI and the Global Fund.

Currently serving as a Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist at the RBM Partnership to End Malaria, Marsha plays a critical role in coordinating the development of strategic plans and supporting the implementation of the Partnership’s global malaria strategy. He is instrumental in designing monitoring frameworks, producing detailed performance reports, and ensuring the accuracy of data used to track programme progress.

Marsha is highly proficient in data analytics and visualisation, utilising various analytical tools to transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform decision-making and improve programme outcomes. His previous roles include setting up and managing the Strategic Information & Evaluation systems for large-scale public health programmes including HIV and malaria programmes in Southern Africa.

Marsha holds a Master’s degree in Public Health with specialisation in Epidemiology, a Postgraduate Diploma in Global e-Health, and several specialised certifications in public health and programme management. He is passionate about leveraging data to drive the success of global health initiatives and empowering teams to use information effectively for better public health outcomes.
