
Lilya Boaron
Executive Associate to the CEO
Lilya serves as the Executive Associate to the CEO, overseeing the management and administration of the CEO Office of the RBM Partnership to End Malaria – the world’s largest platform dedicated to the global fight against malaria. In this role, she plays a critical part in supporting the CEO to ensure the effective functioning of the organisation.
Since joining the revitalised RBM Partnership in 2017 as its second recruit after the CEO, Lilya has been instrumental in establishing robust operational and governance processes laying the groundwork for the organization's continued success.
Lilya brings extensive expertise in high-level executive support, governance/board affairs, partnerships, project coordination, and human resources management. With a diverse career spanning multiple sectors—including global health, pharmaceuticals, transport, and legal industries—Lilya has honed her ability to support leaders of international organisations.
From 2011 to 2016, Lilya managed the Office of the Secretary General at the International Road Transport Union, based in Geneva. There, she was responsible for HRM management of the Team, as well as the operations of the Presidential Executive and General Assembly, working closely with key stakeholders in over 80 countries to ensure the smooth functioning of the organisation’s governance mechanisms.
Lilya’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Business Management, Law, and French from the Open University, the UK, a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting – Law Option from the Middlesex University, in the UK, and a Swiss HR Management Certificate from HRSE (Certificat de gestionnaire RH avec certificat HRSE). She is currently pursuing an online Master's Degree in HRM, further enhancing her expertise in people management.
Fluent in English, French and Russian, Lilya’s multilingual abilities and cross-cultural experience make her an asset in international settings.
Outside of work, Lilya enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with her friends and family.
