SAVICS

"Every year, 4 million people die from tuberculosis, HIV, Malaria, and Hepatitis. These diseases and many others are curable and preventable. We believe that we can save many lives by helping health teams to move their operations from paper-based to digital data management. Doing so, we can provide all stakeholders with the information they need to speed up the time to treat patients. When data is available, health leaders can target those who are sick with the right services, improve the quality of operations, and reduce the cost of care. Savics is an IT social startup founded in Brussels in 2016. We collect, transport, and analyze medical information from hospitals, labs, and health centers. The data is made available, and on-time to ministries of health across 12 low and middle-income countries in Africa and Asia. We receive funds and technical guidance from large organizations such as WHO, Global Fund, USAID, and others. We were a team of 11 last December, but are 19 consultants today, and we continue to grow. Within our organization, and externally, we nurture respect, co-creation, transparency, and self-management."
