The Country/Regional Support Partner Committee (CRSPC) provides a platform to engage the RBM Partnership community in coordinating support to countries and regions as they execute their malaria control and elimination implementation programmes. Support is tailored to suit the requirements and existing capacity in each country and region. 

The consultant shall work for the RBM Country/Regional Support Partner Committee (CRSPC) to provide technical support to national malaria control programmes in malaria Advocacy to keep malaria high on the political and development agenda.   

Reporting to the RBM Country/Regional Support Partner Committee (CRSPC) and CRSPC Country Resource Mobilization and Advocacy Working Group (CReMA), the consultant will provide technical support to national malaria control programmes in Malaria Advocacy to keep malaria high on the political and development agenda.   

The consultant will work with the National Malaria Programme and national/regional RBM partners to perform any of the following, as appropriate: 

  • Undertake Scoping Missions to conduct in-country consultations with relevant stakeholders assessing the long-term advocacy requirements.

  • Undertake desk reviews of all relevant advocacy strategy documents, including gap analysis. 

  • Support development/review of Malaria Advocacy Strategies and plans based on country context.

  • Support the development country stakeholder trainings based on available RBM Toolkits and in coordination with RBM and country mechanisms.

  • Review of all advocacy related case studies, where applicable.

  • Facilitate the development of Advocacy Coalitions and provide support to country needs 

  • Write and submit Mission reports to the RBM CRSPC outlining in detail the support process outlining successes, challenges and lessons learnt for future support.
