Malaria No More Japan: Study Session “Rice Production and Malaria in Africa”

Some research shows the data of the increase case of malaria in the process of agricultural devel-opment, especially rice production. Rice production project, which was implemented for income-generating scheme, might cause the negative impact on the local residents’ economic empowerment. We organize this study session to share the data and situation by using statics and past research data. Through this closed discussion, we aim to focus on the issues on the agricultural development and global health.
