The meeting, themed as“Deepen China-Africa Health Cooperation, and Jointly Build the Health Silk Road“, is aiming to comprehensively summarize the progress and experience harvested from China-Africa Collaboration in the health sector, and to discuss and explore ways for cooperation between China and Africa in the new era. The event also aims to push forward the attainment of the goals of the African Union’s Agenda 2063 and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The event is also prepared as contribution to the Belt and Road Initiatives and the establishment of the ”Health Silk Road”.
The meeting, mainly organized by National Health Commission of The People’s Republic of China, will be held during August 17 to 18, 2018 in China National Convention Center, Beijing, China.
Other conducted events and activities during the meeting include the China-Hospeq 2018, belt and road internet + health conference and the 10th Beijing Medical Imaging Development Forum.
