On the eve of World Malaria Day, this invitation-only event will bring together the changemakers, government, business, science, and the global health community who are leading the fight against malaria. Together we will recognise the progress made since the momentous Malaria Summit 2018, and Commonwealth Commitment to halve malaria in five years.

Achieving this historic commitment will save 650,000 lives and prevent 350 million cases of malaria. It will set us on a path towards ending the world’s oldest and deadliest disease in a generation.

The afternoon will include a short panel discussion addressing what it will take to halve malaria. This will be followed by a moment to recognise and shine a spotlight on best practice, partnerships, innovation and those making significant progress to achieve this momentous commitment.

The event is formally supported by the UK Government in its role as Commonwealth Chair in Office, as well as the RBM Partnership to End Malaria.

The event will take place at the Science Museum in London.
