The Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches of North America (PCCNA) is partnering with World Vision to mobilize their member churches nationwide to save lives from malaria in the name of Jesus. The Church united can break the cycle of disease and end malaria deaths for good.
Hundreds of churches are expected to join the fight against malaria by hosting a Malaria Sunday event in spring 2012 — a special focus that is designed to take place during a church’s regular weekend gathering.
On Malaria Sunday, congregations will gain awareness about the scourge of malaria and have the opportunity to help save lives by donating bed nets for vulnerable children and families.
At a cost of just $6 each, treated bed nets protect children and families, reduce the number of mosquitoes that plague communities, and help end deaths caused by this “pestilence that stalks in the darkness” (Psalm 91:6).
Your church can be a vital ally in this battle. Together, as God’s army, the Body of Christ can accomplish this mission and save lives in Jesus’ name.
