This year alone, an average of 485 children a day have been saved from this lethal disease.
The report also comes with a stark warning — failure to continue funding malaria activities has the potential to undermine previous efforts and may cost the lives of an additional half a million children. Let’s hope our elected leaders, here in the United States and globally, take notice of the findings in this report.
